Christopher Wild

Germanic Studies

Christopher Wild is Associate Professor in the Department of Germanic Studies and Theater and Performance Studies, and Deputy Dean and Master of the Humanities Collegiate Division. His research focuses in German theater from the early modern period through the eighteenth century, exploring ways in which theology and religion inform modern develpoments. Wild’s forthcoming book will seek to develop what he calls “cultural poetics of occurrence” through the examination of entrances and exits in European Theatre.
