Dominique Bluher

Cinema and Media Studies

Dominique Bluher is Lecturer in the Department of Cinema and Media Studies. Her research centers on autobiographical film, ranging from important experimental or documentary filmmakers such as Jonas Mekas, Ross McElwee, and Su Friedrich, to well-established auteurist directors such as Agnès Varda, Chantal Akerman, Federico Fellini, Jean-Luc Godard, and Nanni Moretti. Her most recent book is Joseph Morder – le filmateur (Yellow Now/La vie est belle, 2014).
