Elena Bashir

Elena Bashir is Senior Lecturer in the Department of South Asian Languages and Civilizations. Her research focuses on the linguistic diversity of Pakistan, particularly those languages in Pakistan's northwest region, where she has performed extensive linguistic fieldwork. She is on both the Executive Committee and the Board of Trustees of the American Institute of Pakistan Studies.
